Trauma Counseling with me is designed for adults who are tired of "pushing through" and are ready to gently, steadily heal what happened to them. As a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional and survivor myself, I understand both the shock of trauma and the long, quiet aftermath that can show up as anxiety, numbness, irritability, or constant alertness.

You might be living with PTSD symptoms-nightmares, flashbacks, startle responses, difficulty trusting-or you may simply feel disconnected, exhausted, and unsure why. Whether your trauma is rooted in childhood experiences, intimate partner violence, sexual assault, medical crises, racism, natural disasters, or ongoing emotional abuse, you will not be rushed or minimized in this space.

In our work together, you will learn how trauma lives in the body and brain, and why your reactions actually make sense. I use trauma-informed therapy approaches such as CBT, DBT skills, Compassion-Focused Therapy, and mind-body-spirit counseling to help you feel safer in your own skin. You will practice grounding, nervous-system regulation, and boundary setting so you can move from survival mode to a more regulated, present state.

We will move at a pace that respects your nervous system. Sometimes that looks like processing specific memories; other times it means focusing on current triggers, relationship patterns, or identity after trauma. I will offer clear, practical coping tools-breathing exercises, tapping, thought-challenging, communication scripts-so you have something concrete to lean on between sessions.

For many of my clients in Texas, trauma counseling becomes the turning point where shame softens, self-protection becomes healthier, and life starts to feel possible again instead of overwhelming. If you are seeking PTSD therapy and support that honors your story and your resilience, I am here to walk that path with you.
