Experienced, Credentialed, and Trauma-Informed

Pam C. Lyons, PLLC is a McKinney psychotherapy practice led by me, a Licensed Professional Counselor-Supervisor, Certified Clinical Trauma Professional, and Certified Professional Coach with over 15 years of clinical experience. I draw from CBT, DBT, trauma-informed care, feminist therapy, and solution-focused methods to address trauma, anxiety, grief, and life transitions. Sessions are structured yet compassionate, giving you both insight and practical tools to navigate daily stress and long-standing patterns.

Survivor, Businesswoman, and Guide

As a Hurricane Katrina survivor and businesswoman, I know what it means to lose almost everything, rebuild more than once, and keep going when the world feels unsafe. My motto, Reinvent the World, grew out of living through community trauma, racism, economic stress, and global crises like Covid-19. I do not minimize these realities, I name them, and I walk beside you while you reclaim your voice, your choices, and your sense of possibility for the future.

Mind, Body, Soul Care

My work integrates evidence-based therapy with mind-body-spirit support. When you desire it, I incorporate EFT tapping, bioenergetic tools, natural herbal approaches, and faith-aware reflection to help calm your nervous system and deepen healing. Every plan is personalized, never one-size-fits-all, so you can move between processing trauma, strengthening boundaries, and rediscovering purpose. I invite you to connect with me and begin creating the grounded, meaningful life you deserve.

Compassion

Clinical trauma training and lived survival experience create deeply safe, validating care.

Inclusion

Black-owned, female-led, faith-aware support where culture and spirituality are honored.

Accountability

Clear tools, boundaries, and action steps turn insight into steady, lasting change.

Mrs. Daisy - Virtual Support

Mrs. Daisy serves as my virtual assistant and is often the first welcoming voice you encounter when you reach out. She helps simplify the logistics so you can focus on your healing work. From responding to initial inquiries to providing guidance on scheduling through SonderMind, Headway, GrowTherapy, Sessions Health, or Zocdoc, she supports a smooth and respectful intake process. Her role includes sharing basic information about services, hours, and telehealth options, and ensuring messages reach me quickly and securely.

This thoughtful administrative support means you spend less time navigating forms and more time preparing for meaningful change.
